About us

We rent out and look after our own flats exclusively. Our staff are permanently employed throughout the year. So you have a competent team on site at all times. We want you to feel at home with us.

In the centre of Rhede we offer you the Gästehaus Münsterland with flats for fitters and holiday guests, and we also offer the Gästehaus Westfalen in Rhede for fitters and travellers. Our Angelika holiday flat has a pool and sauna. Your small pet is welcome in the Angelika holiday flat and the No 1, No 2 No 3  holiday flat.

Internet access via WLAN is available free of charge in all holiday flats. Each accommodation is a non-smoking flat.

We are sure to have the right accommodation for you in our offer! We always have an open ear for our guests and are happy about positive reviews. Should something not be to your satisfaction, please let us know so that we can remedy the situation.

Information

The quietly located holiday flats are in Rhede, only 50 m or 700 m from the town centre. Public parking spaces are available. For the holiday flat Rhede you have the possibility to rent 2 underground parking spaces. Distances from Rhede to Arnhem (NL) 68 km, Düsseldorf Airport 74 km, Münster 74 km, Oberhausen 48 km and Winterswijk (NL) 22 km.

The lovely small town of Rhede also likes to call itself "The Smile in Münsterland". With its greenery and colourful life, it also conjures this up on the faces of its guests. Situated between Bocholt and Borken, Rhede offers not only its own sights, but also many attractive excursion destinations in the surrounding area. Whether on foot or by bike, you should get to know the varied landscape between the Netherlands and the Lower Rhine. In the town centre, numerous historical buildings await the curious. The town is dominated by the imposing church of St. Gudula. Around the church there are numerous restaurants and cafés with outdoor seating, especially in good weather. The shopping street invites you to take a stroll through the town's shops. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the Museum of Medicine and Pharmacy is a popular destination. The year is peppered with events such as "May Sunday", the "Rheder Kirmes" or "Rhede's Winter Fairytale with Moonlight Stroll" in the cosy town centre. Of course, visitors should not miss a glimpse of Rhede Castle, which is well worth seeing, especially as it is just a few metres from the town centre.

A charming landscape with opportunities for rest and relaxation, attractive places and buildings of cultural and historical value, including many castles dreaming in the water and manor houses overlooking magnificent parks, the district of Borken offers all this. If you want, you can go on a 'hike' by bike along signposted cycle paths or into the blue, and the local gastronomy offers hearty or sweet refreshments in between. The district of Borken is also an ideal starting point for a detour to the Netherlands. The district borders the kingdom on a distance of 108 kilometres. Enschede with its attractive city centre or the weekly market in Winterswijk: many destinations in the neighbouring country are worth a visit.

If you like to get on your bike spontaneously, there are countless possibilities in the district of Borken: Circular tours, themed routes or rides on small "Pättkes" can be combined at will for day and multi-day tours. With the Fietsenbus you can comfortably extend your radius of action: During the cycling season from 1 May to 3 October, several bus lines are equipped with bicycle trailers on Sundays and public holidays.

Dear guests,

We would like to prepare the basis for carefree and impeccable days for you with our accommodation and always take great care in doing so.
With your booking you accept our house rules, which are always part of our contract with the tenant.

House rules

  • Any items located in the holiday property may be used by the tenant. We ask for considerate handling of the furnishings and equipment.
  • We ask and are very grateful if you wear slippers in the holiday property and take off street shoes in the entrance area.
  • Furniture of the interior may not be brought or moved outside.
  • In-house towels may not be taken to our pool.
  • Settings on electronic devices in the holiday property may not be changed without prior consultation with the landlord.
  • Bringing and using electrical appliances such as fan heaters, your own hairdryer, your own kettle is strictly prohibited.
  • Keeping the holiday property clean during your stay is not replaced by the final cleaning. Everything you need for a usual cleaning is ready for you.
  • An initial supply of consumables such as toilet paper is available.
  • Smoking is not permitted in the flat. Please go to the terrace or garden area and use an ashtray. Completely cooled down cigarette remains will be disposed of in the residual waste.
  • Provide for sufficient ventilation of the rooms to prevent the formation of mould and odours by airing them at regular intervals.
  • During the agreed rental period, you assume responsibility for the rented holiday home. Always close all doors when leaving and always take the front door key with you. We assume no liability in case of burglary or theft.
  • Rest times must be observed: 22:00 - 7:00

Kitchen

  • Crockery, cutlery, pots and co. may only be returned to their storage places in a clean and dry condition.
  • Only place hot objects (pots, pans) on tables and worktops with coasters.
  • Use a kitchen board as a base for cutting and chopping food.
  • We kindly ask you to leave the interior of the oven and the microwave clean - baking paper is provided for this purpose.

Terrace/balcony

  • The seat cushions for chairs and garden loungers should be taken indoors overnight and in rainy weather.

Parking

  • A parking space is reserved for you on the property of the Angelika holiday flat. For the Rhede holiday flats, it is possible to rent an underground parking space before arrival. If a parking space is made available to you, this does not constitute a custody agreement. The landlord is not liable for loss of or damage to motor vehicles parked or manoeuvred on the property or in the underground car park and their contents.

Disposal

  • Waste must be carefully separated. Bins for residual waste, organic waste, paper and plastic packaging are available outside for disposal. The bins for the Rhede holiday flat are located in the Volksbank car park
  • Please never throw food leftovers, waste or hygiene articles down the toilet or other drains.

Departure

Leave the holiday property in a tidy condition, this includes:

  • Empty the fridge and wipe it out dry
  • Clean dishes and put them back in their place when dry
  • Dispose of remaining food
  • If necessary, clean oven, grill and fireplace
  • Switch off electrical appliances (except fridge)
  • Dispose of household waste in the designated waste bins
  • Leave our holiday flat broom-clean

Bringing a pet is only allowed after consultation and written confirmation by the landlord and is only possible in the holiday flats "Angelika" and "Werner". For a pet, the price increases according to the price list.

The occupancy of the holiday flat(s) is only permitted with the number of persons registered by the tenant. The use of all sports and play equipment in the house and on the entire grounds around the holiday flats as well as at the pool and the sauna is always at your own risk. The landlord is not liable for personal injury or damage to property. Parents are liable for their children according to the legal regulations.
